MBS CONCRETE PUMPING
The effective, affordable, practical solution for delivering concrete
Save money, time and manpower
MBS Concrete Pumping offer the most effective way of delivering concrete to the precise location you require, which is particularly useful where site access is challenging.
With concrete pumping you can save money and significant man hours. The days of the multiple wheel barrow trips should be well behind you, especially if you have a large order. The concrete passes along our vehicle’s chute into the hopper, and then pumped through pipes and poured into the places you require.
Our ground line hydraulic pump technology enables us to distribute concrete irrespective of the obstacles between our vehicles and the required pour site. So even if it that happens to be a long way from the road, behind or between buildings or where surfaces are uneven (making it difficult to wheel that old barrow!) we can solve those issues quickly and efficiently.
Ground pumps work via a number of connected pipes and hoses which can be manoeuvred around almost any obstacle, over long distances and through tight spaces. Ground line pumps also enable us to distribute larger quantities of concrete that would otherwise take much long time to deliver.
Our ground line pump can reach up to 150 metres and around most obstacles and buildings.
Easy Access
The ideal solution for sites where there are issues with access such as in between or behind buildings or across uneven surfaces
Extended Pump Length
The ground line can pump concrete over long distances of 150 meters around obstacles and buildings
Reduces manpower requirements
Saves your workforce time making multiple wheelbarrow trips over long distances or through tight spaces
Speeds up concrete delivery
Ground line pumps are ideal for larger quantities of concrete - speeding up delivery at up to 1m³ per minute
Cleaner delivery method
Direct delivery via connected pipes and hoses to ensure the concrete reaches its destination quickly and with no spills
Save time and save money
The most cost efficient means of transporting concrete to the required pour site more quickly and easily
How does a ground line concrete pump work?
Our pump discharges concrete into the hopper from our mixer vehicle. An agitator mix the cement in the hopper, making it ready to flow into the piston system. It is then pumped through a series of pipes and hoses to the required location. The pipes are laid carefully along the ground, ensuring that the mix reaches its destinations with no spills.
What are the benefits?
• The ground line pump allows us to run up to 150 metres and around obstacles and buildings
• The mix can be quickly and easily moved to the pour site(s)
• The pumps can be truck mounted or stationary according on your needs
• The perfect solution when the mixer can’t get close to the required pour site
• Saves manpower, particularly if you are short of labour on site
• Allows access for concrete delivery even across ground too uneven for wheelbarrows
• Speeds up delivery if work is running behind schedule
• Avoids additional waiting times (ground lines are delivered half an hour before the concrete vehicle arrives)

Our concrete boom pump
The boom concrete pump is an excellent alternative to line-concrete pumping as it enables us to deliver concrete to areas of the site where the ground line may not be able to reach and where it is impractical to use barrows.
It uses a remote-controlled articulating robotic arm to deliver the concrete accurately to the required areas. Boom pumps are generally used on larger construction projects as they are capable of pumping at very high volumes and because of the labour saving nature of the placing boom.
What are the benefits?
• Deliver concrete to areas of your site which may be beyond the practical reach of barrows or ground line
• Capable of pumping at very high volumes
• Saves time and manpower
• Vertical reach of boom: 41.9 meters (137 ft)
• Horizontal reach of boom: 38.0 meters (124.7 ft)
• Pumping rate: 30 cubic meters per hour (39 cuyd/h)
• Concrete pressure: 112 bar (11,200 kPa; 1,624 psi).
